Backyard Birds

          This project shows what species of birds I have observed in my backyard between February 01 and June 01, 2017. I did this because I was interested in what birds are migrating and when, and what birds are staying year round. I chose to include some of my photos because this project was only able to form from the photos I took, as all the data is from my photos I took daily in that timeframe.
          These are only 13 of the many species I have seen travel through my yard. I have 4 bird feeders in my backyard currently, 3 seed feeders, filled with a mix of sunflower seeds, peanuts, raisins, corn and other food for birds I buy from a store. One feeder provides suet to birds in the winter, and a hummingbird feeder provides nectar to hummingbirds and orioles in the summer. I make sure water is provided year round to attract birds as well, with a fountain running spring into fall, and a heated-birdbath in the winter.
